The Department of Education just released new regulations for universities and K-12 schools that limit how schools must respond when sexual harassment occurs. Some situations are no longer required to be investigated, and consequences for schools that fail to act on others are lowered.

The Allstate Foundation will invest $100,000 in Texas Advocacy Project’s Legal and Economic Justice Initiative. The grant will be used to provide legal services and access to economic empowerment information to survivors of domestic violence across Texas, so that they can get and stay safe.
