Year after year, we continue to be inspired by our Teen Ambassadors of Hope and the passion they bring to creating safer, healthier communities. In 2026, we reached 97 teens and their families across two impactful training days, equipping them with the tools and confidence to recognize abuse, support their peers, and lead with empathy.

About
Teen Ambassadors of Hope (TAoH) is a statewide leadership program designed to educate and empower teens about healthy relationships.
The program includes a half-day training event, followed by two weeks of peer-to-peer fundraising, uniting Texas teens, ages 13-19, who are passionate about creating a safer tomorrow. Through engaging workshops on healthy relationships, leadership, and peer-to-peer fundraising, Ambassadors gain the skills to educate their peers, spark meaningful conversations, and lead impactful awareness campaigns. TAoH inspires youth to become civically engaged, driving positive change in their communities.
Ambassador Benefits:
- Gain expertise in cultivating healthy relationships, teen dating violence prevention, and TAP’s services
- Develop transferable leadership skills with industry leaders while learning how to raise awareness to support victims of abuse
- Network and build community with like-minded peers across Texas
- Stand out on college and job applications by earning service hours and receiving a letter of recommendation from Texas Advocacy Project’s CEO, Heather Bellino
Ambassador Responsibilities
- Attend a Training Day to gain a foundational knowledge of ways to cultivate healthy relationships and prevent teen dating violence.
- Raise awareness about TAP's services and healthy relationships through two weeks of peer-to-peer fundraising.

Kaitlyn Eberhardt is the Education & Outreach Director at Texas Advocacy Project (TAP). She leads TAP's educational programs, facilitates trainings, and fosters partnerships with organizations to provide holistic support by bridging gaps in survivor resources. Kaitlyn is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work degree at the University of Houston, focusing on building a future free from power-based abuse, where all survivors have the support they deserve to thrive.
