TAP EXPANDS ONLINE TRAINING PORTAL

AUSTIN, TX, MAY 16, 2022 – With a 40-year demonstrated history, we strive to share our knowledge about the dynamics of power-based abuse as widely as possible. Our focus is always on bringing survivors to services and safety, and we work hard to connect with fellow advocates and everyone doing this work to fill the needs of every survivor.

With that goal in mind and thanks to a $30,000 grant from The Swalm Endowment of Texas Council on Family Violence (TCFV), we are excited to share our online training portal, Teachable. Anyone who is interested can take any of the courses whenever they want, wherever they want. After course completion, a CEU certificate will be automatically generated (there may even be an online confetti cannon to celebrate your hard work!)

Whether you’re a high school teacher or social worker, an attorney or medical professional, a teen or law enforcement officer – we have a training for you! We’ll even be releasing a short course weekly specifically designed for survivors and anyone who would like to learn more about survivor rights. The first installment, The Right To Be Heard, is now live! Help us see our vision of all Texans living free from abuse by taking a course and sharing our online training portal with your network. We are adding new courses every month! And as always, we offer free live trainings for groups of any kind and any size. Learn more about all of TAP’s training opportunities here.
