Texas Advocacy Project Promotes Miesha Aubrey to Senior Vice President of Client Services:
New Role Positions Agency for Growth
AUSTIN, TEXAS | SEPTEMBER 23, 2024 — Texas Advocacy Project is pleased to announce the promotion
of Miesha Aubrey to the role of Senior Vice President of Client Services, effective immediately. In her
new position, Miesha will lead strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing client relationships and delivering
exceptional service across the organization.
Miesha brings a wealth of experience to her new role. Before returning to Texas Advocacy Project earlier
this year, she most recently served as Assistant Manager of the Non-Catastrophic Litigation Department
at Sandoval James PLLC, (a TAP supporter), where she managed personal injury cases from litigation to
settlement. Her dedication to client advocacy and her impressive negotiation skills have consistently
resulted in successful outcomes for her clients. Prior to her role at Sandoval James, Miesha served as
Managing Attorney at Texas Advocacy Project, where she provided critical legal services to survivors of
domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, and stalking. Her commitment to social justice and
her ability to navigate complex legal matters have earned her a reputation as a strong advocate for
those in need.
Miesha holds a Juris Doctor from the Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University, where she
excelled in various moot court competitions and was recognized as Best Overall Oralist in multiple
events. She also earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Baylor University, graduating Cum Laude.
“Miesha’s extensive legal background and her passion for serving survivors make her the ideal choice for
this role,” said Heather Bellino, Chief Executive Officer at Texas Advocacy Project. “We are confident that
under her leadership, our Client Services team will continue to thrive and drive our mission forward.”
“I am fortunate I was called back to this work and I am honored to take on this new role and to continue
serving our clients with the highest level of dedication and excellence,” said Miesha Aubrey. “I look
forward to working with our talented team to enhance our services and strengthen our client
relationships.”
Miesha’s promotion reflects Texas Advocacy Project’s commitment to recognizing and nurturing talent
within the organization. We are excited to see the impact she will make in her new position.
