One in four women in America will experience domestic violence in her lifetime. And almost all victims stay in or return to an abusive relationship because of financial abuse. In October, during Domestic Violence Awareness Month, Americans can make a difference.

The Allstate Foundation is excited to announce the 2018 Purple Purse, a friendly fundraising competition for qualified 501c3 nonprofits from around the country.   The Purple Purse Flash Fundraiser launches on Wednesday, October 2, at 12 p.m. ET and runs through Tuesday, Oct 31, at 1:59:59 p.m. ET.

The organization that raises the most during the Purple Purse Fundraiser wins a $100,000 donation!  And the best part of the Flash Fundraiser is that each nonprofit keeps all the funds they raise to help move the needle on their important work.
